Why are Permaglide® P180 plain bearings very suitable for bearing arrangements in solenoid valves? Learn more in our application example.

Solenoid valves are used for closing, opening, dosing, distributing or mixing the gas or liquid low in a pipeline. The armature of the electromagnet generates the valve stroke, which can be between 0.2 mm and 4.0 mm. A high magnetic force ensures fast and precise actuation.

Good stick-slip behaviour, hysteresis and good chemical resistance are key requirements that the solenoid armature bearing has to meet.
