Permaglide® P180
New lead-free high-performance material
Permaglide® material P180
P180 – a lead-free high-performance material: highly resilient, resistant, suitable for universal use
Permaglide® P180 represents a further development of the tried-and-tested P14. It fully meets and surpasses P14’s characteristics profile.
The material P180 can also be used in tribological systems in which, to date, only materials containing lead (e.g. P10) have been used.

Material properties
- suitable for universal use
- low and consistent friction values
- high wear resistance
- extremely good dry running
- very low stick-slip tendency
- extremely resilient, especially with edge wear
- excellent chemical resistance
- high resistance to erosion
- largely resistant to swelling
- lead-free
- maintenance-free
Switch to material KS P180 - advantages and rationale
Excellent properties - P180 surpasses all previous standards
High-quality composition, improved tribological characteristics:
- P180 surpasses all Permaglide® standard materials in terms of pv value.
- P180 can be used for both dry and lubricated applications.
- Thanks to its higher resistance to corrosion, P180 can also be used in water.
- The material P180 can also be used in tribological systems in which, to date, only materials containing lead (e.g. P10) have been used.

P180 – Advantages OF P180 COMPARED TO P14 AND P10
In comparable applications, the material P180 has proven itself.
ADVANTAGES OF P180 COMPARED TO P14
- Better tribological characteristics: P180 surpasses P14 significantly in terms of pv value
- Better wear resistance thanks to high-performance plastics in the solid lubricant
- High-quality composition
- P180 offers additional advantages compared to P14, e.g. P180 can also be used in water.
ADVANTAGES OF P180 COMPARED TO P10
- Better tribological characteristics: P180 surpasses P10 in terms of pv value
- Lead-free, meets legal requirements
- P180 has proven itself in applications in which, to date, lead containing materials (e.g. P10) have been used.
